EBYD is a new spot to talk travel and share experiences about places far from home, in the greater Southwest or right in our own backyards.Today I'm launching one of several EBYD special topic blogs: The Southwest & Beyond Club (a girls' hiking and adventure group). Our group this trip included Christina +Roodieg, Marion and Jennifer.
This weekend, the Southwest & Beyond Club decided to beat the heat and head north to Flagstaff, AZ to hike the Veit Springs Trail/Lamar Haines Loop. In just about two hours we found ourselves among the tall pines, cool breeze and a sea of yellow wildflowers!
